Lapland Boutique Resorts is strengthening its management team by appointing three of our long-standing professionals to new leadership positions. We are proud to build our future together with talented people who have grown within our own organization.

Jochem van den Bosch has been appointed Director of Safari Activities & Experiences. Jochem began his career at Ruka Safaris as a trainee guide, and over the years he has gained extensive experience across all areas of safari operations. In his new role, Jochem will be responsible for leading and developing Lapland Boutique Resorts’ activity services and for creating memorable guest experiences across all of our destinations.

Maiju Rumpunen has been appointed Director of Food & Beverage Services. Maiju’s journey with our company began as an on-call waitress. Over the years, she has built strong expertise across various areas of restaurant operations as well as responsible supervisory roles. In her new position, Maiju will be responsible for the development, quality, and guest experience of our food and beverage services throughout the group.

Kata Rumpunen has been appointed Director of Accommodation & Hospitality Services. Kata began her career with our company as a part-time housekeeper. Throughout her career, she has worked in a wide range of accommodation operations roles and progressed into responsible supervisory and management positions. Through her experience, she has become one of the key developers and experts within our accommodation services. In her new role, Kata will be responsible for the operational leadership of all our accommodation services, the development of quality standards, and the continuous enhancement of the guest experience throughout the group.

All three newly appointed directors share nearly a decade of experience in various roles within our company. Their career paths strongly reflect the culture we strive to foster at Lapland Boutique Resorts: providing opportunities to grow, learn, and advance based on individual capabilities, commitment, and continuous development.
